Mit Tuten und Blasen – Dans la Rue tells the story of five alternative brass bands from five European countries, including The First Night of Love Brass Band from the Netherlands.

Film recording in 2000 from the First Night of Love Brass Band at Bredeweg festival, Amsterdam on Queensway. The recordings are made for the film Dans la Rue. A videoclip of the live recorded Balkan tune Fiju Fiju Kolo (Arr. Eric Boeren) is on the CD of this brass band.

In June 2001, the documentary was broadcasted on the German Arte-TV channel. “Und überall ist es immer noch die Strasse, die Menschen zusammenbringt, auf der sich das Theater des Lebens öffentlich macht, wo Lebensfreude und Hoffnung ihren Ausdruck finden”, as the programme announcement put it.
